We are beautiful, but very broken people. Through Jesus we can be rescued and redeemed with His life pouring into us and shining out through us. Even though we may still bear wounds, His life fills in the broken places and we are no longer paralyzed by them. Often those scars are places that He is most visible and where His light is the brightest. He marks us with the life of His Spirit and He is marked by our names “tattooed” on the palms of His hands. II Corinthians 4:6-10, Isaiah 49:16
